The Lytx People Operations team is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused People Coordinator to join our hybrid role at our San Diego headquarters. This exciting position offers the opportunity to assist with a diverse range of People Operations tasks, supporting various functions across our entire People Team. From Tuesday to Thursday, you’ll be delivering vital onsite support, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any immediate needs, including front desk duties such as greeting employees and clients, along with administrative assistance to our facilities department. You'll Get To:

  • Assist with People Operations tasks including pre-onboarding, onboarding, offboarding, and employment data changes

  • Conduct regular audits of HRIS/Workday data and additional audits to support Benefits and Compensation teams

  • Maintain and update internal process documentation and Quick Reference Guides (QRGs)

  • Provide Tier 1 support for our People Services Ticketing System by troubleshooting tickets or assigning them to subject matter experts

  • Perform data entry and process changes in Workday, such as position creation, supervisory changes, and location changes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline miscellaneous tasks like employee gift ordering, new hire swag, and rewards program support

  • Generate employment letters and agreements using standard templates

  • Assist with document storage and processing, including mail review, distribution, and file room maintenance

  • Support on-site activities and room setups, provide front desk coverage, and serve as a back-up receptionist during breaks, lunches, and time-off

  • Support the development and delivery of new hire orientation

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience

  • 2-3 years of HR/People experience with general understanding of HR concepts and regulations

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and a high degree of integrity

  • Organized, accurate with a solid focus on detail and excellent communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Excel

  • Prior experience with Service Now and Workday desired
