The People Business Partner will provide proactive operational support to our CSO team in Southern Europe (France, Spain and Italy). Delivering on the People Team strategy and providing professional guidance and support to the team.
The People Business Partner will provide support to managers on areas such as employee relations, talent management, performance management, employee engagement and retention and compensation and benefits in line with policies.  Responsible for and maintaining programs and policies including updating of data on HRIS, compensation and benefits administration, ex-pats, and some project work. User of the HRIS system (Workday) and other HR systems. Occasional travel between offices expected.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Partner with leaders and managers to deliver the people strategy in support of the CSO business and develop, manage and follow-up HR projects for broader teams.
Employee Relations:
First point of contact on enquiries relating to French, Spanish and Italian policies and procedures, ability to provide guidance. Provides employee relations advice to managers and employees in line with local legislation and work with managers to ensure the smooth resolution of employee relations issues.
Administration:
Ensure the administrative tasks/processes management of all the CSO employee life/HR cycle.
Performance Management:
Manage our performance program to include monitoring and ensuring team members in the region have Priorities in place and complete monthly performance/development discussions. Manage the year end performance processes including performance reviews and calibration for. Manage the mid-year and year end pay review process for CSO and ensure accurate communication of changes to associates.
Provide accurate support and guidance on Performance Improvement Plans.
Talent Management:
Manage our talent management processes to include identification of top talent. Working closely with management to put development plans in place and recommend development activities and tracking.

Payroll:
Responsible for the coordination of monthly payroll elements for CSO France, Spain and Italy. Ensure that all forms are submitted correctly and in a timely manner, in accordance with Payroll cut-off dates.
Monitor all the changes for CSO France, Italy and Spain. Ensuring that all systems are updated with these changes.
Prepare the CSO new joiners’ and leavers’ forms and information.Â
Responsible for CSO overtime process: answer Managers’ questions, verify and prepare CSO overtime information for payment and obtain approvals.Â
Answer employee queries on pay slips, verify vacation, and first point of contact for Senior Payroll/Benefits Specialist. Â
HRIS (Workday):
Responsible for reviewing leave requests, checking the balances in relation to payroll and ensuring correct paperwork has been uploaded where required (sick leave, wedding leave, paternity leave, etc).Â
Maintain and ensure accuracy of the data.
Test the new functionalities and processes.
First point of contact for questions from employees and managers, raise ETS requests if needed follow-up and communication.
Follow-up of managers’ actions which have an impact on HR procedures.
Correct errors: vacation, bank holidays, floating days, leaves and any other subject discovered. Raise ETS requests and test if needed.Â
Create WD processes and educate employees and managers when necessary.Â
Training:
Responsible for the organization of the EMEA training program held during every summer.
Create content and deliver internal sessions for different events : team meetings, corporate programs, townhalls,…
Global Mobility:
Support with international hires and transfers. Interact with the Global Mobility team and immigration consultants and tax advisors. Working with the Global Mobility team provide supporting information to obtain work permits and visas.
Culture and Engagement:
Champion the company purpose and values and promote, manage and support with the coordination of charities and internal initiatives programs.
Talent Acquisition:
Partner with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to keep up to date with recruitment requirements in the team. May be involved in interviewing for key positions as part of a recruitment process.

Education / Experience
Essential:
Degree or HR qualification or relevant business experience. Experience of supporting the French (and ideally Spanish and/or Italian) market. Fluent French and English language skills Proven experience of working in an operational HR role within a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand the business and take a business/commercial approach to finding solutions.
Ideal:
Experience of working for a US owned high-tech organization Experience of supporting the Spanish and/or Italian market Spanish and or Italian language skills Employee benefits and/or global mobility experience.
Language ability
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Â
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members and groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math ability
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Reasoning ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong Microsoft windows experience particularly Word/Excel and Human Resource systems. Previous experience of using HRIS and Workday experience strongly desirable.
