Position Summary

The Program Manager, Sales Operations will help manage programs within the sales operations area such as marketing and sales executive forecasts models and PowerBI report validations for sales. The Manager partners with business leaders, policy owners, M&S talent acquisition leaders, and other stakeholders to assess needs and develop and execute sales programs.

The Program Manager, Sales Operations maintains responsibility for managing and delivering various Sales programs to the Sales Organization. The Manager also supports the delivery of Sales Operations programming across the Company – all brands and regions along with back-end success metrics.

Expected Contributions

 Marketing and Sales Executive Forecast Models and New Hire Surveys:

  • Execute, administrate, and measure the effectiveness of the Marketing and Sales Executive forecast models and the New Hire Surveys.
  • Partners with M&S TA leaders, Workday reporting team, Qualtrics team, M&S Site Leaders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to plan, create, enhance, and deliver high-quality Forecast models and New Hire Surveys to meet the site hiring needs. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Sales, HR, Talent Acquisition, and other cross-functional stakeholders to identify and execute on opportunities to improve the effectiveness and experience of M&S recruiting forecasting and New Hire Survey initiatives.
  • Maintains forecast models and New Hire Surveys – all aspects.
  • Maintains comprehensive records of participation in forecasting calls and continued tracking for individuals or departments and regularly provide reports to sales operations, M&S Talent Acquisition, SVPs of M&S, and the site leadership.
  • Collects and monitors feedback forecasting process; leverages feedback to drive improvements to the ongoing development and delivery of forecasting for M&S.
  • Performs other duties and projects as needed or assigned by Sales Operations leadership.

Development and Tracking – Sales Operations Programs

  • Uses established methodologies in all stages of the design process, including needs assessment, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This will include any need for enhancements and tracking of current programs that will be the Sales Operations Program Managers responsibility – examples include External Enrollment, Equity Report Access for the organization,
  • Assesses development needs by analyzing data and developing and conducting surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
  • Assesses and determines modes of delivery (e.g., virtual calls regional or all encompassing, needs for eLearning’s, etc..) for Sales Operations programs.
  • Collaborates with field SME’s, Talent Development, Sales Advisory Board and M&S Leadership on the design of engaging program roll out and ongoing support materials for a variety of methods, including print collateral, web-based, and virtual rollouts.
  • Researches and identifies external Sales Programs that may fit the needs of the organization. 
  • Keeps abreast of program delivery including learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods and techniques.

Owner Research and PowerBI SME Analysis

  • Reviews and analyzes Owner Research as requested by VP Sales Operations to identify root cause, appropriate solutions and ongoing enhancements and communication opportunities for our Field representatives to enhance the Reputation of MVW.
  • Maintains responsibility for high-quality PowerBI reporting through User Acceptance Testing for the Sales organization to ensure field representatives have the appropriate Customer knowledge and tracking to deliver with excellence.
  • Reviews and analyzes feedback on PowerBI report builder for internal customers; identifies trends in feedback and provides follow-up for issue resolution and/or appropriate communication to PowerBI Leadership.
  • Leads ad hoc rollout projects by working with SMEs, to design and deploy strong Sales programs across the enterprise.

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Hospitality management or related discipline.

OR

A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in Sales & Marketing, including 3 or more years’ experience in a Sales or Marketing field role required. 

  • Advanced degree in Business Management a plus.

Experience

  • 3+ years of site or company program development and/or delivery/facilitation experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing site or company-wide programs.
  • Experience in hospitality, timeshare or sales and marketing industry.
  • Experience with PowerBI a plus
  • Experience working with Microsoft Applications to assign and track program delivery.
  • Experience using established methodologies in all stages of the program process, including needs assessment, analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.
  • Experience in Workday reporting a plus.
