Job Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Asia Pacific Region Human Capital (HC) Operations team to support the day-to-day management of HC operations in support of employees across all stages of the employee lifecycle. The HC Generalist will also play a role in ensuring compliance with the firm’s HC policies and local legal regulations and act as a bridge between Consultants, Support Professionals and office leadership as well as specific HC specialist functions.
This is a challenging role in a fast-paced, professional services environment, integral to ensuring the smooth running of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and administer employee policies and processes; and look opportunities to improve process efficiency

Work with payroll team to ensure accurate and timely administration and delivery of country payroll and tax

Administer staff benefits arrangements and updates
-
Provide advice and guidance to employees on HC and payroll related matters

Respond to general enquiries related to employee benefits

Maintain personnel files, HRIS data, employment letters and documentation, employee notifications and transactions

Handle onboarding and offboarding of employees
-
Provide support in termination and exits of employees
-
Manage employee relation cases, including liaising with Legal and Employee Relations teams in complex cases

Conduct investigative interviews

Keep updated on new regulations and propose and implement changes to comply with the new requirements

Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
-
Responsible for statutory reporting and internal & external audits

Provide employee training and/or information sessions in HC related benefits and initiatives

Participate in HC strategic projects

Work closely with the Local Office and HC Leadership to contribute to the advancement of local office culture and engagement, in line with Oliver Wyman values

Provide ad-hoc support to other HC functional teams as needed and as assigned
Experience Required:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
-
3-5 years of relevant HR work experience; experience in the professional services industry an advantage
Skills and Attributes:

Fluent in English

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to juggle multiple tasks, organize, prioritize and manage own time effectively in order to meet deadlines

Technical Skills:
