The Opportunity:

The L&D Specialist, Technology will be responsible for maintaining all systems, documenting processes, training end users and running reporting connected to our learning technology at Oliver Wyman. The role will primarily manage all learning systems and integrations ensuring systems are working properly. This role will identify and troubleshoot system issues with IT, document processes and suggest improvements, curate eLearning pathways to support the curriclum, train end users on utilizing the systems and run reporting to ensure systems are working properly and processes are being followed.

They will work closely with the Global Head of Technology, L&D Manager Global Coordination team as well as regional and local teams to maintain our system integrity. They must have expert technical knowledge of learning systems (Workday Learning, Degreed), capacity to learn new technology quickly, capability to run and interpret reporting and the ability to document and easily explain complex technology to end users. They need to be able to work well in a collaborative team environment, able to manage a varied and high number of stakeholders, be a team player, have excellent communication skills, project management skills, and strong technical skills. They must be comfortable working within a virtual team environment. The role also requires a high degree of organization, significant attention to detail and a strong customer service orientation. 

Oliver Wyman is a fast paced environment that requires fluency in English.  This role will be based in Warsaw.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning system maintenance

  • Responsible for maintaining learning systems and integrations to ensure they are working properly.
  • Troubleshoot system issues with IT and escalate issues quickly to provide resolution.
  • Monitor processes via reporting and troubleshoot issues directly with end users.
  • Close alignment with MMC to be aware of system updates and changes and understand impact for Oliver Wyman processes.
  • Share new system and process updates with team so they are aware. Provide training where appropriate.
  • Train end-users on our systems and processes and ensure these are being followed.
  • Support the Digital Learning team, Global Coordination Team and broader L&D team with entries into the LMS to ensure accuracy.
  • Understand end to end processes and document these via eLearning and user guides.

Data management and reporting

  • In depth knowledge of data available, how it is stored, collected and how to get value out of it.
  • Partnering with the L&D Manager, Global Coordination Team, monitor the process for inputting data into Workday Learning, ensure data accuracy, flag any issues and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  • Work closely with Talent Analytics to continuously review and improve existing tools or develop new tool related to digital learning reporting and systems.
  • Suggest process or system enhancements based on work with teams and experience with the system.
  • Deploy data analytics and innovative strategies to measure and improve the effectiveness of learning to achieve the firm’s short- and long-term goals. Report on appropriate measurement indicators, including return on investment metrics where possible.

Software vendor management and implementation support

  • Execute software vendor selection and performances processes where required, and proactively manage or oversee relationships with preferred partners to optimize ROI.
  • Run security review process with IT as required for vendors.
  • Support implementation of new software or learning systems by leading workstreams or projects as necessary.
  • Provide training, documentation, and communication to support adoption of new technologies.
  • Stay informed on any new trends in learning approaches, technology and tools to ensure we deliver innovative solutions to our internal clients.

eLearning curation

  • Review top rated eLearning and make suggestions to curriculum development teams on relevant learning to support their programs.
  • Curate eLearning pathways that can be used to support programs or teach specific skills.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree at a minimum with a strong academic track record in a related field, e.g. education / educational technology, instructional technology, communication, or psychology
  • 5+ years of work experience in technical administration within educational technology systems
  • Management consulting experience desired
  • Experience balancing dynamic work demands in a challenging, fast-paced, international environment with numerous stakeholders to satisfy and collaborating across different fields of expertise.
  • Experience managing complex projects, involving multiple stakeholders and short turnaround times.
  • Proven ability to foster relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of obtaining results through partnering and collaboration

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
  • LMS (e.g., Workday Learning, Degreed) administration experience including system maintenance, reporting and integration support
  • Articulate software skills a plus
