CPSG Partners LLC Mercer Digital is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Dallas, Texas office:

Principal Workday HCM Consultant

We will count on you to:

  • Responsible for architecting the implementation of the Workday cloud-based human resources and financial management services for businesses transitioning from their legacy human resources and financial system.
  • Conduct assessment for key clients with respect to their human resources management activities.
  • Provide recommendations and strategies involving alternatives to traditional enterprise resource planning procedures.
  • Provide recommendation on local compliance data management to comply with government regulatory reports and requirements.
  • Conduct meetings and offer recommendations on business process operation in relation to unions, collective agreements, employment contracts, and global security setup.
  • Understand and setup global compensation to track base compensation, bonuses, stock, merit, and total compensation reports.
  • Work with a range of stakeholders to recommend optimization opportunities and approaches to facilitate business process efficiencies, technological performance and change management for business operation requirements.
  • Architect and lead senior consultants on core technical human resources structures through job architecture, organization architecture, and business process efficiency.
  • Evaluate aspects of projects using specific project methodology to ensure projects are sold and delivered properly.
  • Develop complex reports, including trend reports, advance reports, composite reports and matrix reports to analyze data as part of quality assurance processes.
  • Develop tenant build-out, management and optimization using tools such as Migration Recipes, Cloud Loader, Advanced Loader, Customer Central, iLoads, and object transporter.
  • Review, validate and load data through Workday Web Services using Implementation Suites and Implementation Tasks.
  • Recommend approaches to deliver solutions regarding staffing models and structures, compensation, absence management, and time clock vendors based on requirements.
  • Suggest business processes and workflow definitions across diverse functional areas and countries.
  • Conduct periodic vulnerability analysis, performance checks, and risk analysis to ensure smooth human resources operations and the maintenance of risk-free environment.
  • Monitor, synthesize key information, and identify issues and risks to a project.
  • Architect and mentor Associates and Senior Associates with the implementation of Workday human capital management and absence management.
  • Provide overarching mentorship to full project teams.
  • Provide leadership within core practice area around consistent resource development, innovation and consistent vision for practice area efficiency and business development.
  • Coordinate with delivery leadership for company initiatives, innovation and practice area strategy.
  • Engage with delivery review board and support sales pursuit in closing projects, engaging prospects, scope assumptions and scope hours for project technical needs and inputs.
  • Manage employee project allocations and forecasts, day to day functions, performance management, and annual reviews.

What you need to have: 

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent in Economics, or a related field, plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered, or as Senior Workday HCM Consultant, Workday Consultant, or a related position.
  • Must have four (4) years of experience with: Human capital management for business process configuration; Business process architecture and consulting on business process efficiency and efficacy; Absence management on configuration of global time offs and leaves; Configuration of compensation setup; Consulting on setup of international pay ranges and job architecture mapping; iLoads; Delivering HR/ERP solutions using Microsoft Excel functions, including Macros, data manipulation techniques, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP; Enterprise Interface Builder; Analyzing business requirements and creating detailed technical specifications in Workday; Performing core and historical data conversion and validation from legacy systems into Workday; Performing data conversion using Workday Excel add-in ASAP Utilities; and Configuring security for user access groups including intersection and aggregate security. 25% national and international travel is required to various and unanticipated company and client sites.
