Compensation Manager – Hybrid
Responsible for managing the design, implementation and administration of Masonite’s compensation programs, including base comp, short and long-term incentive plans. Provides expert guidance to leadership on trends and competitive pay practices.
- Manage global management incentive and variable compensation programs including calculation and communication
- Partner with sales leaders on calculation and communication of sales incentive and commission plans
- Manage company’s Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program
- Responsible for compensation tables for CD&A/Proxy and partner with Legal for SEC filings
- Manage Deferred Compensation Plan (DCP), sales travel reimbursement program and relocation program.
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations
- Provide diligence and integration support for Merger and Acquisition activity
- Manage Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
- Participate or lead project teams for compensation and system projects
- Partner and provide consultative support to HR and other leaders during reorganization efforts
- Manage merit processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable regs such as FLSA
- Manage the Compensation Analyst
- Ensure consistent and accurate market pricing process for open positions
- Provide support for annual budget process
- Prepare materials for quarterly Compensation Committee meetings as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field.
- 7-10 years’ work experience in compensation management
- Public company experience required with knowledge of SEC filings and LTI programs
- Proficiency in MS Office suite of programs with a high proficiency in Excel. (Pivot tables, v-lookup, formulas)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to be an effective business partner and consultant to all levels of the organization
- Familiarity with HRIS and compensation systems; Workday experience preferred
- Experience managing projects including communications to management and impacted employee groups.
