The TECH Finance Automation team is built upon strong contributors with leadership abilities, innovative mindsets and with strong business and technical acumen. The team acts as an incubator supporting various TECH Finance initiatives by providing in-depth analysis and strategic guidance. The team identifies ways to leverage data for answering business questions and driving operational efficiency. We use modern technologies and data analysis to uncover insights, improve decision-making, and drive innovation across customer engagement, productivity, and business processes.

Data Visualization: PowerBI, Power Apps
Core data sources: Financial – Oracle/Hyperion, Workday

Role
• Deliver complex analytics and automation initiatives that drive operational efficiency and strategic insights across TECH Finance and Mastercard.
• Identify, design and implement data and process automation solutions to support TECH Finance Operations and potentially the global organization.
• Build and support an infrastructure to enable effectively working with large sets of unstructured and structured data.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports that adhere to the visualization best practices and communicate a story.
• Extensive experience with the Power Platform: Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, including developing enterprise-grade applications.
• Integrate data from diverse sources using APIs and connectors, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
• Draft and present strategic documents and presentations to communicate insights, innovations, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to strengthening a motivated, innovative and productive team that creates next generation analytics for TECH Finance and Mastercard.
• Generate and implement ideas to continuously improve analytics and reporting services delivery.
• Work closely with analytics community of practice and customers to identify short-term and long-term objective alignment.

All About You:

5+ years of experience in analytics, data modeling, or business intelligence roles, preferably in a Finance or Technology environment.

Deep expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and data integration using APIs.

Proven ability to drive complex projects and influence cross-functional teams.

Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and automation frameworks.

Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Experience with Workday datasets, Dataverse, and ETL/Workspace tools like Alteryx or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.

Good to have:
• Data modeling.
• Experience with optimization models is a plus.
• Experience working in Cloud Platforms.
• Experience with Big Data technologies is a plus.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
