Position Summary


Essential Functions & Qualifications

Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for providing sourcing and full-cycle recruiting in support of RSLI’s workforce needs. The Talent Acquisition Partner develops and maintains trusting relationships with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, Candidates, Universities, and the Community at large. This person adapts to changing needs, identifies areas of process improvement, supports diversity initiatives, and ensures positive experiences, in alignment with RSLI’s mission and values. The Talent Acquisition Partner utilizes a collaborative approach to efficiently support the business.

Provides Talent Acquisition Support

  • The TAP provides ongoing support to designated business groups at RSL. They will act as a partner to business leaders and HRBP’s in supporting current and future workforce needs of the organization.
  • Maintains external relationships aligned with RSL’s workforce needs and diversity initiatives, including, but not limited to, Agencies, Universities, Community Partners, Insurance Associations, and Networking Groups.
  • Through the partnership with HRBP’s and business leaders, develops multifaceted recruiting strategies in support of workforce needs. Builds and maintains diverse talent pipelines.
  • Partakes in project-based initiatives that support our improved efficiencies and business solutions within TA and in support of other HR functional areas.
  • Collaborates and shares information freely across Talent Acquisition and broader HR teams.

Manages Tactical Recruiting Processes

  • Manages full life cycle recruiting processes, from requisition through new hire onboarding.
  • Provides proactive, comprehensive communication to internal stakeholders and prospective candidates throughout the interviewing and hiring processes.
  • Utilizes ATS (Workday) to facilitate the interview and hiring processes, accurately capturing data in real time. Educates end users (managers and candidates) on their roles in the process.
  • Ensures that actions and communications are in support of, and contribute to, excellent candidate experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience

  • Strong personal integrity, organizational maturity and the ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability and desire to work with HR colleagues, search firms, hiring managers and candidates in thoughtful and personable way.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to lead and partner at every level of the organization.
  • Strong time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and shift focus quickly. 
  • Creativity, flexibility, business acumen and execution skills are critical to success in the role.
  • Must be comfortable utilizing an ATS for tracking workflow and documentation purposes. Workday experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experienced in behavioral interviewing techniques and comfortable in thoroughly vetting candidates.
  • Experience in networking with, attracting, and sourcing a diverse candidate pool.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a full-cycle recruiting role.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience considered.
