Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

This job role is responsible for end-to-end Payroll Operations. The individual is responsible for monthly payroll processing, ensuring the quality service is provided to all employees and internal stakeholder, which in line with the business policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

  • Process all aspects of payroll cycle delivery including year-end payroll process and tax reporting. Ensure that all regular, supplemental and equity compensation transactions are properly taxed and reported

  • Comply with payroll policies, procedures and controls

  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the payroll process. Reconcile all payroll related accounts

  • Prepare payroll metrics, reports and reconciliation and informative payroll reports to meet the needs of the business

  • Assist both internal and external audit issues and practice corrective actions eliminating the root cause of issues, as needed

  • Maintaining processes associated with interfaces with third party system

  • Ad hoc projects as necessary

What do you need to have for this role?

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of payroll and HR administration related experience

  • Proven ability to manage varied initiatives, adjust to changing priorities, stay focus and organized ensuring objectives are met

  • Knowledge and familiarity with local statutory and taxing requirements

  • Proven ability to effectively coach team members to achieve performance, develop position relationship and foster collaboration with stakeholder/vendor

  • Strong analytical ability demonstrated by the ability to identify issue and offer solutions

  • Exhibits as positive can do attitude and approach to responsibilities, meet new challenges and changes with an open mind, demonstrates commitment to the job

  • Experience in Workday system is a plus
