Methode Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: MEI) is seeking a Senior HR Information Systems Analyst to join our Corporate Human Resources team. As a member of the HRIS team, you will provide support to enhance core HR systems, data analysis and reporting, while managing ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects to meet deadlines. This role supports our global HRIS initiatives including day to day operations, implementation, and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides general support of system through testing, researching, problem analysis, audit, and maintenance

  • Creates and execute test scripts for testing of new data elements and releases; Leads configuration testing efforts and user acceptance testing

  • Develops system and process documentation to support the communication of any new process or implementation and to support user training and ensures thorough documentation of requirements, design, and processes

  • Performs routine data quality checks and audits to identify data problems and reports these to leader

  • Utilizes expertise to proactively identify areas for operational efficiencies, improvements, and new configuration

  • Analyzes and compares HR data from multiple systems and makes recommendations to appropriate stakeholders

  • Provides support on projects and leads and implements HRIS projects including requirement gathering, testing, and documentation

  • Troubleshoots and maintains integrations and provide updates as needed

  • Creates reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support continuous enhanced reporting needs

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 5 years’ of Workday HRIS experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and total of 7 years’ of HRIS experience

  • 2+ years’ experience developing and/or maintaining integrations, creating Workday reports (including advanced, matrix, composite), writing calculated fields, and creating dashboards

  • 3+ years’ experience in HRIS support most of the following modules: HCM core, Payroll, Absence, Timekeeping, and Recruiting

  • Experience in Global Workday system implementations and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across geographies to ensure seamless execution and timelines and deliverables are met

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel including using complex formulas to analyze and manage data

  • Maturity, discretion, and experience in dealing with highly confidential information

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally required

  • Flexible in mindset and can and will easily shift focus and reprioritize with business requirements

  • Must be able to work flexibly across different global time zones to support a variety of projects and initiatives 

  • Ability to occasionally carry and lift up to 15 pounds
