Support Center – Irving
The focus of this Manager HRIS will be to project manage the HRIS team’s timely delivery of projects, including those which require IT support. Coordinates with business partner submitting HRIS requests, understanding the business partner needs to project manage the design, testing, and communication once HRIS places project into production. Coordinates with the Payroll team to ensure accurate HR data passing to the Payroll module. Builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation, and works effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning and solutions. Configures Workday modules as needed, focusing on Benefits and Absence.
Major Activities
- Develops and maintains productive working relationships with project stakeholders and key systems users
- Works with project stakeholders to clearly define the scope of approved projects
- Develops, manages, and reviews project documentation, including project plans, project timelines, and status reports
- Communicates project status regularly to HRIS management and project stakeholders
- Documents processes and updates existing documents after completion of projects.
- At project completion, provides project closure reports that detail performance to originally approved project requirements
- Proactively discovers and reports improvement opportunities as it relates to HRIS processes
- Ability to take initiative and work well independently while also supporting the HRIS Team
- Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Minimum Education
- Requires BS/BA degree in a related field
Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills
- Strong technical expertise, including financial, analytical, and problem-solving capability
Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires
- 6+ years of relevant experience, including strong HRIS/HCM expertise
Other
- Knowledge of business process review, improvement, and re-engineering
- A working knowledge of HRIS applications, functionality and processes
- Strong interpersonal, project management, and organization skills (ability to prioritize work and staff workload)
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary efforts and drive/initiate significant process improvements
- Requires the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users

- BS/BA degree in HR or Computer Science
Preferred Special Certifications or Technical Skills
- Workday Certified Preferred
