MileOne Autogroup is now hiring for our elite Human Resource team at our corporate location in Towson (onsite/ in-office). Our HR team works autonomously to support our 4,000 employees in all areas which include payroll, benefits and more!
The Payroll & HR Administrator will be responsible for compiling and maintaining payroll records while ensuring the adherence to the company’s personnel policies and procedures.
Essential Job Duties:
- Processes all company payrolls, in an accurate and timely manner, inclusive of posting, issuing paychecks, tax reporting and deduction disbursement, G/L postings
- Processes all employee insurance forms, enrollments, deductions, terminations and COBRA administration as well as reconcile monthly billing and remittance
- Provide payroll data reports and other information as requested/required
- Respond to needs and inquiries of employees and outside callers in a timely, professional manner
- Support Leave of Absence policies and procedures, including communication of company policies, distribution of required paperwork, provision of FMLA notification to all eligible associates, and where applicable, updating associate employment status in benefits system.
- Perform specific duties and relating issues as directed by Manager in a timely manner, referring to various resources for information, as needed.
- 4+ years of payroll and Human Resources administration
- Strong computer skills to include payroll, Excel and Word
- Workday experience preferred, Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
- Must have a sense of compassion, patience and an ability to empathize with employees
- Must maintain employee confidentiality and protect operations by keeping Human Resources information confidential.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-Motivated with high level of initiative and ability to work in a team
