The IT Corporate Systems team in Morningstar manages and supports Morningstar's Corporate platforms used globally across Marketing, Sales, Service, Finance and Employee Tools including Workday. The Role:

We are seeking a Workday Integrations Developer to join the Corporate Systems team. In this role, you are required to have hands-on expertise in the various Workday Integration tools and will work closely with Workday technical and operations team, People and Culture (P&C), and other business stakeholders as needed.

This role is based out of Toronto, reporting to the Workday Integrations lead. We follow a hybrid policy of at least 3 days onsite allowing for 2 days remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • Have an in-depth understanding of business processes related to specific areas of Workday, including an understanding of E2E Workday integration points.

  • Provide Workday support such as requirements gathering, documentation, testing for the integration and reporting module.

  • Proficient in all the tools for Workday integration technologies – EIB, CCW, CCTPP, GPC, PECI, PICOF, CCB, XSLT transformation and Studio code.

  • Work closely with stakeholders and other workday team members and include industry best practices to deliver technology solutions needed to drive alignment of business needs.

  • HR and Payroll related functional knowledge is good to have.

  • Ability to debug integration issues and provide a quick and optimal solution.

  • Experience working with tools like JIRA and Asana.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

  • Around 2 years of demonstrated and dedicated experience configuring Workday integration and working across multiple areas of Workday.

  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions within Workday and working cross functionally across global teams. 

  • Understanding of key HR concepts and processes. 

  • Decent knowledge in additional Workday modules apart from integration is a plus.

  • Good understanding with Workday core functionality, including Security, Reporting, Integrations, Business Processes.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills, including written and verbal communication.
