Are you our next NA Shared Services Payroll Associate?

This role is eligible for a hybrid remote office schedule.

We are looking for someone to join our HR Shared Services team as a Payroll Associate.  This role is key in preparing, processing and distributing our North American weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, and off cycle payroll as well as a host of other payroll associated responsibilities.   

What will you do?

  • Prepare, review, and process our NA payroll runs.

  • Liaison with our 3rd party payroll tax service to ensure accuracy of tax deposits and filing of returns

  • Process wage withholding orders for all North America including responding to the orders and entering into the payroll system

  • Research and answer questions assigned through the HR inquiry management process

  • Partner with HR field staff and HR specialists in the payroll preparation, audit and distribution process to ensure accurate pay

  • Review data used in the payroll process including time transaction, run payroll, audit payroll results, correct errors, and distribute the payroll for 6,000+ employees. Responsibilities include funding of payroll, distribution of court ordered deductions, withholding tax and reviewing interfaces to Mosaic applications or 3rd parties

  • Ensure payroll compliance to legal and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and SOX/internal controls

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What do you need for this role?

  • High School/GED required. College degree is highly desirable 

  • 2+ years’ experience required (payroll experience required and may be combined with HRIS experience)

  • Workday Payroll preferred

  • Experience in ServiceNow or Salesforce case management systems highly desirable

  • Strong computer skills required

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred (vlookup, filtering, data sorting, charting, pivot tables, etc…)

  • Experience in Kronos or other Timekeeping system platforms preferred

  • Familiarity with wage garnishment orders analysis and administration

  • Managing Multiple Projects experience

  • Strong attention to detail required

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High level of initiative and strong work ethic

  • Efficient time management skills
