Where will you work: This position is a hybrid role (3 days in office – 2 days remote) – candidate can be based in our Corporate HQ in Lithia, Florida or our Plymouth, MN office
Senior Manager, Executive Compensation
As our Senior Manager, Executive Compensation you will be a key member of Mosaic’s corporate Human Resources Team and play an important role in the execution of Mosaic’s corporate strategy. Reporting to our Director Compensation, you will also work closely with the VP Human Resources and Total Rewards, SVP Human Resources, CEO, CFO, and FP&A team. You will play a key role in driving the organization’s success by aligning our executive compensation and incentive programs with Mosaic’s business objectives and long-term strategy.  Additionally, you will take a critical role in the preparation of Compensation Committee and Board materials, and presenting executive compensation matters to senior leaders. You will thrive in this role if you are a highly analytical, critical thinker with the ability to adapt to organizational and cultural change. Expect to travel up to 10% as needed.  We prefer you to be based in the Great Tampa Bay area. Relocation is available, as well as alternative work arrangements in exceptional circumstances.
What will you do?

Develop executive compensation strategy and manage executive compensation program operation and governance
-
Design Mosaic’s short- and long-term incentive plans to reinforce the accomplishment of Mosaic’s long-term strategy and annual business objectives, and oversee the quarterly performance scorecards shared with employees

Lead the production of Mosaic Compensation Committee materials

Review the executive pay packages proposals, executive job evaluations, market benchmarking, and executive salary structures developed by the HR Shared Service Centers

Collaborate with Mosaic’s Legal and Tax departments, external counsel, and consultants to ensure compliance with SEC regulations, tax law and IRS regulations, best practices in executive compensation governance, and other relevant legislation/regulations

Review and oversee operation of key controls and audit activities pertaining to executive rewards

Collaborate with HR Shared Services and Benefits Director, define executive benefit vendor services requirements needed to achieve expected outcomes of the executive rewards strategy.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, Law or related field

8+ years of experience in executive and broad-based compensation or 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or corporate law with relevant exposure to executive compensation or human resources

Extensive knowledge of accounting, finance, and tax rules as they relate to executive compensation programs. Advanced knowledge of SEC/global executive compensation disclosure rules and practices related to the company’s proxy and 10-K

Experience researching and benchmarking external practices, features and values of programs maintained by peers and other companies

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of incentive plan design principles and practices, including general market practices and relevant behavioral economics/psychology theory

Ability to model incentive award designs, award guidelines and award payouts based on shareholder value creation principles

Intermediate to advanced project and change management skills

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of statistical terms, methods, and calculations as they related to compensation market studies/surveys preferred. Demonstrated ability to understand and calculate key financial ratios/metrics

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)
