The Associate Director, HR Talent & Recruiting Solutions Lead has responsibility to manage and optimize HR Talent & Recruiting processes in our organization.  This role will own and support the enterprise technology landscape for HR Talent & Recruiting.  This position oversees a small core team, that partners with suppliers, internal IT, Talent Management & Acquisition SMEs/stakeholders and others to manage annual process cycles, enhancements and upgrades to current HR systems enabling these areas.  This position works closely with the team’s strategy leads, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management operation teams as well as the COE’s to identify and recommend solutions, leveraging existing HR tools and technologies where possible. The individual is responsible for collaborating with peer HR solution leads within the organization and accountable for the implementation of agreed upon recommended solutions. The individual must be able to influence across multiple levels of the organization, work with HR operations leaders and internal/external partners to drive change and tangible improvements.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Workday Implementation:

  • Involves working on Workday implementation projects to support the implementation and configuration of the Workday system. This includes gathering requirements, designing and configuring system components, conducting testing, and managing data migration.

System Configuration and Maintenance:

  • Is responsible for ensuring configuration and maintenance of Workday and other systems. This involves configuring various modules such as Performance Management, Request Framework and Recruiting.  It also includes managing workflows, and business processes within the systems.

System Support and Issue Resolution:

  • Provides ongoing support to Workday and other systems and resolves any user issues or system defects. This may involve troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing system errors, and working closely with IT or consulting partners.

System Upgrades and Enhancements:

  • This role plays a key role in Workday and other system upgrades and enhancements. This includes evaluating new features and functionalities, coordinating system upgrades, testing new releases, and providing recommendations for system improvements.

Process Design: 

  • Participates with the Strategy Leads on design sessions to consult on solutions (both existing and new) that will best achieve desired outcomes. Creates/updates required Data Privacy documentation for all relevant work including Works Council ensuring approvals are gained and kept up to date.

Projects: 

  • Accountable for small projects, including project plans and management.

Testing: 

  • Leads defining testing strategy, planning and execution of user testing and sign off on implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years’ of professional experience in HR, HR Technology, or related discipline

  • 5 years of workday experience with 2 of those years being focused on workday configurations

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting the Workday system.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.

  • Proficiency in Workday configuration, including business processes and understanding of integrations.

  • Understanding of Phenom People process and configuration.

  • Understanding of Recruiting and Talent business processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of HR reporting and analytics using Workday's reporting tools.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team to direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems and translate HR/HRSS issues clearly and articulately into business terms.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Bachelor degree

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.  This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely.
