Job Summary:

As Mueller’s Kronos Business Process Analyst will support the maintenance and development of Mueller’s HR Information System. This includes configuration and regular maintenance of the Kronos solution to fit Mueller’s needs, supporting the HRIS analysts who work within HR. The analyst will help develop and execute plans for interfaces, data conversions, and reporting/testing, as well as identify, analyze, and resolve more technical client issues. The role is also responsible for conducting the day-to-day activities in systems deployment efforts, and long-term roadmaps for HR related solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and analytical expertise within the HR Technologies area with a particular focus on Kronos workforce management and working knowledge of Workday
  • Working both independently and often as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design, development and implementation of HCM applications
  • Collaborate with staff members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies and modules, and develop and present viable solution options
  • Develop knowledge of specific business processes used within the HR Technologies area and maintain technical architecture documentation that depicts all HR systems interactions
  • Support and maintain Kronos implementation from an integration perspective
  • Outlines the Application Program Interfaces (APIs), frequency of API calls, and high-level data exchange, working in collaboration with integration team
  • Strong understanding of Kronos Data Models
  • Expected to be able to create, modify, and test configurations
  • Provide technical consulting support on projects or system issues and prepare operations and user documentation
  • Contribute technical knowledge and may be expected to give direction to both internal employees and contract programmers on specific projects or project phases
  • Develop Kronos roadmaps and deployments in line with solution partners and other Mueller applications. This includes; release planning, outlining the Kronos functionality by release by module, whether Mueller should receive the functionality and justification for each, and the timing of receiving the functionality
  • Provide first level escalation support, troubleshooting and providing guidance to Kronos users.
  • Develop training materials for payroll team and employees, maintain user guides
  • Manages the change control process and self-audit to ensure that Kronos changes follow the change control playbook
  • Provide self-audit and implement improvements based on feedback from auditors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 2+ years in a similar role where application to application integration have been developed and maintained
  • Experience in data warehouse solutions a plus
  • Knowledge and skills in data governance and master data management is useful
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills
  • Enjoys working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong knowledge of system testing methodologies, testing processes, and standards

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of WD Cloud Connect and/or MuleSoft or other API platforms is valuable
  • Functional knowledge of Workday configurations will be valuable
