Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Annual reward cycles : Work with key stakeholders to lead and deliver annual reward cycles including pay reviews, bonus schemes and our Partnership scheme (LTIP).
- Process improvements: Collate data, analyse and report on outcomes of all Reward processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create and maintain ‘how to’ guides and provide specialist advice on all of our key Reward processes.
- Support Reward Business Partner / Reward Manager: with data, analytics and robust insight to help support projects, shape the business strategy and maintain brilliant stakeholder relationships.
- Study internal and external data: to highlight trends, anomalies and ensure internal equity.
- Benchmarking and Grading: Experience coordinating job evaluation processes, preferably using the Willis Towers Watson methodology, including job matching, salary benchmarking, participating in market surveys, and analysing survey data.
- Benefits: Oversee the delivery and administration of employee benefits, with a focus on streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring a competitive benefits offering through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement.
- Be an expert for queries relating to pensions or benefits. Work with the Reward coordinator to ensure smooth running of all periodic pensions and benefits actions and pensions interventions.
- Track benefit spend and perform regular assessments for return on investment.
- Supplier relationships: Develop and maintain great relationships with all of our benefits suppliers
- Craft a narrative through the use of data: Be able to take complicated data sets and craft stories tailored to different stakeholders.
- Research expert: Support Reward projects and collaborate with all areas of the business to provide subject matter expertise in research as required.
- Shaping the future: Support the Reward Manager on the delivery of the Reward Strategy.
- Collaborates with the People Tech and Payroll teams in order to identify opportunities for enhancements to configuration and user experience, as well as troubleshoot issues within Workday Compensation & Benefits modules.
- Ensure we stay compliant with all applicable laws, regulations and legislative updates in the UK and ROI.
- Contribute to a Reward dashboard on a periodic basis to highlight key data and statistics relating to the benefits.

The candidate should possess / be:
- 5+ years experience in Reward roles, with a naturally curious nature and desire to problem solve, responsible for extensive calculations such as bonus or annual salary review.
- Highly numerate and good at working with accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.
- A passion for uncovering the “why” behind the data — driven to investigate root causes and tell the story behind the numbers.
- Proven experience working with large and complex data sets, with the ability to analyse, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in pivot tables, complex formulas, data modelling, and dashboard creation.
- Have pensions and benefit experience.
- Ideally experience working with Workday or other equivalent HR systems.
- Have a natural written and verbal presenting style that brings stories to life with confidence and assurance that influences and inspires audiences.
- Naturally calm under pressure, able to distinguish the critical from the chaos.
- Open-minded & collaborative, with sound judgment.
- Able to manage own time and operate without close supervision.
- Project management skills (organisation, planning, and time management) with the ability to work ‘within the grey areas’, changing direction of projects and priorities with a sense of urgency at pace.
- Can deal sensitively with highly confidential information.
- Detailed knowledge and exposure to fundamental Reward theories, principles, and concepts.
