The candidate will play a critical role in creating outstanding employee experiences in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) by delivering and responding to enquiries related HR matters. The candidate will be part of the team contributing to outstanding employee experiences and will be empowered to explore technological adoptions and process improvement in the NTU Shared Services HR team. The candidate will have the opportunities to experience the widely used systems such as HR Workday and ServiceNow in fulfilling the employees’ enquiries and requests. We are looking for someone who possesses good customer service skill, a problem solver, keen learner, have eyes for details in data wants to be part of our HR Shared Services transformation journey.

Responsibilities

Service Delivery and Operational Excellence.

  • Provide thoughtful, accurate and timely responses within SLA to stakeholders based on the University policies, local employment legislation and tripartite guidelines.

  • Provide essential support to address individual HR needs of employees and managers, in line with the University’s policies and guidelines.

  • Manages enquiries and knowledge platforms including but not limited to HR system, case management system, knowledge bank and web content.  

  • Champion projects from reviewing datapoints to implementation of suggestion to improve service delivery especially through process improvements and system enhancements.

  • Deliver data and insights on enquiries received to improve the overall employee experience.

  • Positive collaboration with colleagues with NTU Shared Services and stakeholders to ensure seamless HR end to end processes.

  • Provide support to internal and external audit.

Requirements

  • Possesses a degree in Social Science, Business or related discipline from an accredited college/university

  • Preferably supervisory experience with proven process and system improvements track records with at least 3 years of experience in Shared Services, HR or Customer Service supporting HR function.

  • Customer centric with good communication and interpersonal skills to deliver high level of professionalism when dealing with stakeholders of all levels in the University.

  • Keen in data and ability to analyse data and recommend possible solutions to improve employee experiences.

  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness in understanding and resolving issues at hand.

  • Possesses a proactive approach at work with high attention to detail.

  • Accountable in follow up with stakeholders.

  • Possesses strong critical evaluation skills to identify long term solutions for issues.

  • Results driven, open to feedback and a strong team player.

  • Open to embrace new technological adoptions and high interest in improvising technologies including but not limited to HR system and communication platforms.

  • Working knowledge of Workday and/or ServiceNow will be advantageous.
