NTU has implemented Workday as its core HR system accessible across more than 9,000 NTU users.

This role ensures proper governance is in place to maintain timely and accurate data in Workday and look into continuous improvements to streamline business processes so that best practices are implemented and rolled out standardized across the entire NTU organization.

Some of the roles and responsibilities are:

  • Provide support on system set up, maintenance and troubleshooting of WorkDay modules that NTU uses, specializing in Learning, Performance Management and Talent Management.
  • Provide operational support to WorkDay HR community:
    • Handle and investigate reported incidents by troubleshooting and proposing solutions or workarounds.
    • Assess and prioritise change requests.
    • Perform users training and provide guidance to available resources.
  • Configure business rules and processes in the Workday modules, based on given business requirements.
  • Lead efforts in determining user requirements, propose design and test system solutions.
  • Perform Workday release impact analysis and recommend new features for implementation.
  • Establish relationship with key stakeholders and seek to understand and fulfill business needs.
  • Perform ad hoc system projects as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HRIS system maintenance and enhancement, with proven track record of effective process and change management.
  • Experience in Workday concepts, capabilities and configuration is preferred.
  • Functional knowledge in HR operations and processes for Compensation, Benefits, Absence and Payroll.
  • Able to analyse business process requirements and translate into system configurations.
  • Efficient, well organized, able to work well under pressure and adhere to strict timelines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders.
