About the role:
The People Planning and Partnership (P3) organization builds and sustains world-class teams at Nasdaq. The P3 organization is the client-facing team within People@Nasdaq that builds strategic partnerships with the business and owns the process from proactive sourcing and talent pipelining, hiring strategy and execution to ongoing consultation to building high-performing and engaged teams.
The EMEA P3 team consists of team members located in Spain, UK, France, Lithuania, Denmark, Poland, Ukraine and Sweden. As one team, we focus on strategic workforce planning, analytics, skill identification, talent attraction, hiring, diversity, and early career programs. Senior Manager – People Business Partner role is responsible for managing a and developing a small team and enabling the people strategy by providing expert guidance and partnership to the assigned client groups. You will be responsible for setting direction, perform talent management and development decisions as needed ensuring Nasdaq's people strategy and processes are implemented successfully. In partnership with other People@Nasdaq team members, you will anticipate and plan for long-term people needs and trends, including but not limited to: talent attraction, talent management, people rewards, and employee relations. This role will implement strategic people programs that advance the talent strategy across the client groups.
What Impact You Will Make:
- Act as a strategic People Partner architect in providing the advisory and expert & strategic guidance on talent matters in your client group with tech industry
- Collaborate and partner with the business and People@Nasdaq Team to understand the business goals and identify action plans to enable a people strategy that aligns with and support the broader business strategy
- Be the agent of any change initiatives anticipating the talent needs, opportunities and solutions proactively and effectively
- Lead the team and be an inspiring role model to think critically, solve creatively and perform exceptionally
- Identify & lead opportunities to improve upon the delivery and execution of our company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, talent management, organizational change, etc.)
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management processes, conflict and complex cases resolution
- Lead all aspects of People Support in different countries, making sure we're following the rules and applying best practices for our diverse team
- Own or contribute to special projects to drive innovation across the People@Nasdaq team
- Use HR analytics and metrics to guide important decisions, figure out the strengths and opportunities in respective HR areas and client groups
What Are The Success Factors Of The Role:
- Solid knowledge and successful experience in HR Partnership role, preferably in an international company, tech area
- Visionary mindset and proven track of readiness to people manager role
- Strong standout colleague attitude and ambition to collaborate across teams, functions, and locations
- Abilities to engage and partner closely with external clients, suppliers, and internal collaborators
- Ability to demonstrate ownership, accountability and flexibility in navigating complexities, leading change and driving solutions
- Proven commitment to upholding high professional and ethical standards
- Analytical skills to make data driven insights, actions and solutions
- Employment law knowledge, understanding and application
- Workday experience (a bonus)
