What We Offer
As a Workday HCM Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for executing HR leadership vision for Nasdaq by providing Workday technology solutions that meet and/or exceed client expectations. You will work closely with various HR Centers of Excellence (CoE) groups – Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Recruiting to implement new solutions, improve existing programs and provide technical support specifically in the areas of Integrations, Advanced Reporting, Security Administration and Workday Extend.

What You Will Do

Drive projects as technical lead and liaison with client and technology teams to successfully deliver technology solutions

Project manage technical work and support key communications with internal and client leadership teams

Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems by translating customer requirements into Workday solutions

Design and build Workday integration code base using Studio, Cloud Connectors and EIB

Design and build custom reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and embedded analytics using Workday’s reporting toolset

Build Workday Extend skillset and find opportunities where Extend can be leveraged to improve processes or develop custom apps to meet unique business needs

Adapt and quickly learn new tools and feature rollouts by Workday and other technology platforms for delivering efficient solutions

Identify and escalate risks in a timely fashion and develop alternate technical and functional approaches to resolve as necessary

Support the identification of process improvements and changes to development methodology based on project experience

Create detailed technical specification documents for new solutions and maintain existing documentation based on updates for ongoing support items

Lead end-to-end testing for assigned integrations including creation of unit test cases

Adhere to established SDLC processes to ensure high quality of work
What We Expect
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
-
At least three years of hands-on experience working with Workday Integration tools – Studio, Cloud Connectors, Web Services (REST and SOAP), XML and XSLT

At least two years of hands-on experience in Report writing using various tools from simple to complex reports, Calculated Fields, Dashboards and Discovery boards

Strong knowledge and experience with the Workday security model

Programming experience with other platforms and/or languages – C++, Java, .Net, Python etc.

Good understanding of relational database concepts and SQL language

Experience working in both Application Development and Production Support environments

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally in a global environment

Amenable to work on mid shift or with overlap to US business hours (Eastern Time)
