NCC Group are looking for a Product Owner to join our in-house global applications team. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate that may have come from a Business Analysis background or a Product Owner/Manager that has worked as part of Lean/Agile model.

Our Workday Product Owner will be heavily involved in our continuous improvement projects and will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, development, and implementation of systematic and procedural changes to Workday and impacted business areas.

The Product Owner will partner and represent the business, end user community and the global technical services (GTS) team while carrying out their responsibilities for determining which features and functions are required in order to meet the company’s mission and strategic goals.

Role Responsibilities

  • By partnering with business SMEs and providing technical leadership, you’ll seek to understand business requirements, translate them into solutions, and implement functionality to meet objectives.
  • Ownership, management, communication and delivery of the Workday roadmap including:
  • Additional functionality not currently in use
  • Enhancements to existing functionality/business processes to increase efficiency
  • New Workday SKUs
  • Enhancements included in Workday Bi-Annual releases
  • Underpinning the roadmap will be projects, epics, user stories that will feed into sprint planning and product backlogs to managed by the Product Owner.
  • Ensure best practices are being followed and maintained appropriately
  • Create and maintain system documentation / develop help tools, document configurations, assist in end-user training when required
  • Manage and maintain operational business support, administration and governance in the Workday landscape
  • Working closely with external vendors for change management and service delivery

Role Requirements and Experience

  • 2+ years of SaaS product management
  • 2+ years of Workday Experience (ideally HCM and Finance)
  • Experience with integration technologies, platforms and tools
  • Relevant Workday, Scrum, Lean/Six Sigma qualifications would be added advantageous
  • Ability to clearly articulate product requirements
