About the Role:

Responsible for supporting the execution of Neurocrine’s talent development strategy. Focus on providing planning, coordination and logistical support for multiple talent management and development programs and activities. This is a position on a team whose focus is to enhance the effectiveness of our employees, leaders and teams.


You Contributions (include, but not limited to):

Program Management

  • Provides program management support for multiple live in-person, virtually facilitated and self-paced on-demand leadership, professional and career development programs, including:

  • Sources, curates and delivers learning content on a variety of topics

  • Creates and delivers communications and marketing materials

  • Identifies, establishes and maintains relationships with external training vendors

  • Reserves event space and oversee training room set-up and break-down

  • Orders, assembles and ships training materials and supplies

  • Submits vendor invoices for payment and track expenses

  • Provides program management support for talent management initiatives, including employee engagement, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning and high potential development, including:

  • Coordinates and launches assessments such as Core Strengths SDI 2.0, EQ, 360s etc.

  • Facilitates workshops and exercises that enhance collaboration and team effectiveness

  • Facilitates career workshops and deliver tools and resources to support career coaching and individual development planning

  • Schedules planning meetings and conference calls

  • Facilitates sand/or serves as technical producer for Zoom and MS Teams meetings

Learning Content Management

  • Serves as administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), including maintaining employee training records, troubleshooting, running reports and responding to employee inquiries

  • Designs and procures training aids, quick reference guides, microlearning and e-learning content to support various initiatives

  • Maintains and updates L&D SharePoint pages with appropriate content

  • Analyzes post-training survey data and provide summaries to determine the effectiveness of learning and development activities and provide suggestions for improvement

  • Assists in organizing and maintaining data/file storage on HR’s shared drive

Other HR Responsibilities

  • May coordinate and lead employee events and activities, including act as HR liaison for one or more Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

  • Assists as back-up to other HR colleagues, as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • BS/BA degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, OR

  • Master’s degree and some related experience

  • Excellent organizational, project management, analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to effectively interact with multiple levels and disciplines

  • Current knowledge of best practices in learning; experience with blended learning approaches, virtual delivery and instruction/technology platforms

  • Strong project management skills; detail oriented and well organized

  • Ability to source and develop content for career development and team building initiatives

  • Facilitation and training skills for effectively delivering content to a diverse, professional audience

  • Working knowledge of Learning Management System(s) and e-learning delivery systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience with Workday and/or SharePoint a plus

  • Understands Neurocrine’s business objectives and developing understanding of Neurocrine’s services and customers

  • Has experience in specific functional discipline while working to acquire higher-level knowledge and skills

  • Comfortable with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Strong computer skills

  • Good communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Good project management skills
