Sr. HR Optimization Analyst

The Sr. HR Optimization Analyst is responsible for leading or supporting HR Optimization projects. As a member of the HR Optimization and Technology team, you will lead or support in successfully planning, monitoring, and launching key HR Optimization and HR Technology projects. Primary responsibilities include gathering business requirements, aligning stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, developing project plans and timelines, tracking project goals, and launching project initiatives.

Summary:

The Sr. HR Optimization Analyst is responsible for leading or supporting HR Optimization projects. As a member of the HR Optimization and Technology team, you will lead or support in successfully planning, monitoring, and launching key HR Optimization and HR Technology projects. Primary responsibilities include gathering business requirements, aligning stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, developing project plans and timelines, tracking project goals, and launching project initiatives.

Essential Functions:

Project Management

  • Manages all phases of assigned projects including initiation, definition and planning, execution, monitoring and cost control, and project close out. Works to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Assists all stakeholders in making sure overall Project needs and objectives are understood and executed as projects evolve through the development cycle.
  • Communicates effectively the feasibility of requested deliverables and timelines to internal business and project stakeholders. Ensures proper communication on assigned tasks and holds responsibility for aligning expectations to clearly define requirements.
  • Leads projects in multiple projects as advisor to ensure understanding of business issues, current needs, problems, expected outcomes, and overall project success
  • Drive project deliverables through influence and proactive collaboration.

HR Systems & Process Optimization

  • Collaborate and align with key stakeholders to lead and or champion optimization projects.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative HR data to identify the most impactful optimization opportunities that best align with HR’s and Niagara’s organizational goals and metrics.
  • Proactively identifies and initiates improvement opportunities around system, process, data and user experience. Leverages data to recommend options to leaders while communicating business impact and value.
  • Leads or conducts system analysis associated with existing or proposed HR technology systems to ensure optimal system use.
  • Conducts root cause analysis of problems and takes action to stop recurring issues.
  • Creates and maintains documentation, plans, templates, and reports on assigned tasks

Data Governance

  • Conducts audits on a regular cadence and supports continuous improvement projects focused on data integrity, process workflows and optimization efforts.
  • Utilizes audits to make system corrections to key metric that may impact downstream processes such as integrations, payroll, workforce planning tool, benefits, timekeeping, etc.
  • Researches best practices for HR systems and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness of HR reporting metrics.
  • Provides recommendations on how to improve frequent data integrity issues and create sustainable solutions.

  • Experience with Workday or similar HCM system and Kronos is strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and MS Project

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 4 Years  – Experience in Field or similar environment
    • 4 Years – Experience in Position
    • 4 Years – Experience managing projects

    • 6 Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 6 Years – Experience working in Position
