Regional Strategic Workforce Planning and People analytics team (the awesome one!) is on the look for People Data Analyst, to be based in Budapest, Hungary.

Along with the support of teammates and extended Center of Expertise (CoE) teams, you would be driving following activities:

Ensure data governance by implementing regional & global initiatives to align data management practices in Workday: 
•    impact analysis on existing business processes & reporting, followed by solutioning and change management
•    data collection & mass upload (EIB) management with dedicated team, and testing
•    running feasibility studies to use different set ups for better global alignment without compromising regional needs

Manage Data quality gaps to ensure HC data reporting to our stakeholders is reliable:
•    Audit Workday data to identify data quality gaps 
•    Work with GPS team and HR Business Partners to ensure data corrections are implemented in the system
•    Identify root causes for data errors; suggest & implement solutions

Develop reports in Workday:
•    Design, test and roll out Custom Workday reports from scratch to enable people analytics for decision making
•    Provide ad hoc Workday reporting support, using defined standards, and ensure complete accuracy
•    Ensure scalable and efficient reporting solutions are implemented that make our processes sustainable

Support data integration activities:
•    Integrate Workday and other business data to reveal insights about workforce’s impact on the business
•    Partner with the business and other functional teams to collect business data from different sources / systems

Major challenges: Workday has been fully deployed couple of years ago in some parts of the region. Data quality is not at 100%. We are still working towards the consistency of scope and definitions within the recently created AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, Oceania) super-region. Global data governance is established, but regional needs may be unique and need to be catered for.

Key interactions:  You will have fun working with various teams on regional and global level – both with those who are experts on the technical side of things and those who have minimum understanding… so be prepared to navigate and adapt to bring the puzzle pieces together.

Your background / experience: we believe that to be successful in this role you will need to have the following:
•    Min 2 years of experience with complex Workday Reporting, or equivalent experience on other HR ERPs. Hands-on Workday experience would help you jump on it straight away
•    Advanced skills in using Excel to manage large amounts of data and produce reports as required
•    5-8 years of experience within the professional role with some exposure to HR operations, in an international, cross functional and diverse environment.

If you have the following experience on top, you’ll be able to add even more value:
•    VBA macros, SQL, Python
•    Workday integration developer
•    data flow automation tools

Your personality & attitude:
•    Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, unstructured problems on own initiative
•    Comfortable working within dynamic environment
•    Able to build relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organization (remotely and face to face) and get things done
•    Curiosity, high inclination to learn, initiative and motivation with a strong focus on delivering agreed projects and beyond
•    Customer focus and ability to “talk” in their language and “walk” in their shoes
