As a Project Manager within NM’s Centralized Tech Learning team, you will have a chance to charter this path and help our talented workforce grow. You will partner with technology and people leaders to identify, procure and deliver outstanding learning programs that help implement Northwestern Mutual’s technology strategy and vision.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Effectively partner with technology leaders and people leaders to identify, plan and deliver impactful tech learning programs.

  • Provide guidance, advice and assistance on learning programs, opportunities and processes to employees and people leaders.

  • Coordinate delivery of programs with internal/external content and learning providers.

  • Complete projects by clarifying project objectives, deliverables, outcomes, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research and time/cost analysis, developing and organizing information, fulfilling transactions, communicating project status and issues, and resolving stakeholder concerns.

  • Assess learning and development needs, create plans and develop, procure and/or facilitate the delivery of training to support the technology strategy and vision.

  • Partner and collaborate with technology leaders, people leaders, HR partners and other stakeholders to create exemplary learning experiences for our employees.

  • Support day to day operations and administrations including finance and expense management, reporting, hiring, vendor management, and organizational audits.

  • Create and own tech learning communication strategy and channels.

  • Be a catalyst for change and drive a culture of continuous learning and unlearning.

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building and stakeholder management skills, including ability to influence, collaborate and build consensus across every level of the organization.

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources to identify themes and develop compelling and evidence-based recommendations.

  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively with others in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment.

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce professional presentations and reports.

  • Motivated, Self-starter who is focused on short and long term goals of stellar customer service and employee engagement

  • Time management and prioritization skills.

Required and Desired Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, HR, Management or a related field.

  • 5+ years of Technology, Strategy, or Consulting related experience.

  • Previous experience with organizing, managing and delivering complex projects.

  • Demonstrable experience in financial management and accounting.

  • Previous experience in organizational development and learning is highly desired.

  • Previous experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Power Automate and Atlassian suite desired.
