Oaktree is looking to hire a senior compensation and analytics analyst or Assistant Vice President to work on the compensation team:

Responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the Head of Compensation to execute annual compensation processes including, but not limited to, forecasting & budgeting and compensation program design

  • Assist in managing the annual year-end compensation planning process and reporting process while partnering with HR business partners and other colleagues to facilitate recommendations and pay actions

  • Participation in the development, deployment and administration of compensation plans that are fair, competitive, supportive of organizational strategies and compliant with company direction, local laws, pay equity or other statutory requirements

  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends, including conducting benchmarking analyses via external market surveys and working with external providers & consultants on internal data submissions

  • Partnering with the Talent team to craft communications related to annual compensation planning, compensation analyses and related initiatives

  • Supporting and advising on compensation related activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retention

  • Developing and documenting procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Experience required

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 3-5 years or more of post-college experience in internal compensation-related role or compensation consulting

  • Results and detail oriented/driven, with strong analytical, organizational, and consultancy skills

  • Ability to draw conclusions, themes, and trends from data analysis and communicate results effectively

  • Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment with a high level of dedication and commitment to quality work product

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work under time constraints, managing to due dates and timelines

  • Ability to work collaboratively and cultivate strong partnerships with HR partners and colleagues

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required; Analytical experience strongly preferred (e.g., numerical research, data analysis, Excel modeling)

  • Working knowledge of Workday and/or Beqom software platforms a plus
