Analyst, HRIS & People Analytics (12 month contract)

Who you’ll work with

Reporting to the Manager, HRIS and People Analytics and part of a diverse team, who partners with the Total Rewards, Talent and Talent Attraction team, build and test out innovative ideas with an agile mindset in a collaborative environment. As a valued member of the People Operations team, you will learn from team members and provide support on people analytics, security maintenance, HCM, ATS and business process configuration.

What you’ll do

  • Consult on and assist with business analysis to define, design, document, test, and deploy features in Workday that propose viable solutions or improved processes. This includes developing and coordinating testing strategies and efforts

  • Log, investigate and resolve functional issues and improvements using our ticketing system (JIRA)

  • Participate as an active team member to research and implement continuous improvement initiatives including semi-annual updates

  • Maintain security assignment, custom notifications and organizations

  • Maintain, build and optimize reporting and dashboards and suggest improvements to support the people analytics strategy

  • Documenting outcomes, objectives, scope, functionality, etc. re P&C technology initiatives

  • Ongoing audit of system to proactively identify and mitigate risks

  • Research on Workday community for solutions and continuous improvement

  • Support and resolve, analyze, detect and correct system issues and respond to internal queries on navigation

  • Maintain / build reports and calculated fields in Workday and ensuring data is yielded accordingly

  • Demonstrate good judgment in prioritizing among multiple demands for Plan administration advice.

What you’ll need

  • 2+ years of system experience with Workday, or related HRIS, testing, reporting, troubleshooting, researching

  • Excellent customer service, strong verbal and written communication skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to work cooperatively within direct and indirect teams

  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities and ability to challenge the status quo

  • Proven commitment to upholding confidentiality and protecting data privacy

  • Experience collaborating with project delivery and technology teams to deliver solutions that solve business problems and meet business requirements

  • Experience in translating business requirements to technical specifications
