Job Title:

Application Integration Architect

This is a remote opportunity, working in the Eastern Time Zone.

Role Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect who will be working closely with different functions including HR, Payroll, Finance, Corporate teams to support their integrations needs, both internally and externally. In this role, you will have the opportunity working cross-functionally, and externally with vendors and global stakeholders to discuss the requirements and associated business value for requests to integrate on-premises and cloud-based commercial software applications, such as Workday, ERP, CRM, ADP, ServiceNow and Salesforce. This role is also responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture blueprint for OTIS.

On a typical day you will: 

  • Develop system integration standards, patterns, policies under EA governance and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain the technology stack to include commercial or open-source integration platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact directly with global stakeholders to understand their needs; then design and develop the integrations following best practice.
  • Designs and implements solutions that align within our tech stack, with a deep understanding of end-to-end processes and flows.
  • Provides guidance on integration to ensure efficient processes and consistent data flows to business and stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement of the architecture and implementation through an ongoing exploration of industry standards and technology and tooling advancements
  • Manages administration and support of the existing environment and future upgrades of integration technologies.
  • Demonstrates technical expertise in building, maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and fixing issues related to integrations of various types.
  • Maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights.
  • Possess an aptitude to be hands on at code level and the ability to abstract details to create meaningful articulation depending on the audience.
  • Manage relationships with business partners and vendors.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form.
  • Set technology standards and guidelines to enable the fast deployment of the packages across environments.

What You Will Need to be Successful: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field of study such as Computer Science, Information Technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical design, developing and maintaining workday integration experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience integrating global platforms like ADP, Workdays, ServiceNow, MS Dynamics and Salesforce
  • Minimum 3 years of strong hands-on experience with Object Transporter, Workday Studio, EIBs, core connectors, API, and web services for Workday integration.
  • Experience in developing solutions with multiple cloud offerings in Microsoft Azure, GCP and AWS.
  • Experience with Boomi, MuleSoft integration platform is plus.
  • Knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including Web services, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Business process automation and orchestration tools and software.
  • Experience working with APIs from commercial software applications.
  • Experience with using application support ticketing system – ServiceNow.
  • Experience with working on ADO running multiple scrum teams.
  • Experience working and collaborating with distributed remote teams.
  • Experience with a fully automated CI/CD pipeline and branching strategies.
  • A deep understanding of the product maintenance and development lifecycle, comfortable diving into problem solving alongside specialists
  • Exceptional user-facing and stakeholder communication and presentation skills
  • An analytical and data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Good experience with LeanIX, Lucid Chart and other diagraming tools.
  • Travel: As applicable and as needed.
  • Certificate – Workday HCM Certification is preferred, TOGAF

The salary range for this role is $120,000 – $180,000.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future.  Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
