You could be part of our next chapter as an Application Workday Lead, supporting project deployment and technical readiness activities for our Global Workday HRIS system and serving as a strong consultative partner to functional leaders, providing process and technology solutions to complex business needs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy technical integrations across multiple 3rd party applications, utilizing APIs, web services and other integration methodologies
  • Manages compliance, system integration and technical profiles for all Workday integrations
  • Lead technology implementations and upgrades for Workday project from an integration perspective
  • Partner with HR functional leaders, digital technology, and technology implementation partners
  • Partners with functional HR leaders to prioritize business needs
  • Lead a strong agile delivery cadence to deliver solutions
  • Lead weekly prioritization meetings – prioritizing based on business value and impact
  • Measure the effectiveness of solutions by identifying and measuring KPI’s and manage customer expectations accordingly.
  • Drive business process improvements by leveraging technology and integrations.
  • Coordinate with other systems owners who have HR-linked business or system integrations (e.g., Finance/GL teams, Treasury and Regulatory)
  • Lead data automation through the development of Workday integrations
  • Coordinate integration development work acting as scrum master on a team of WD integration developers.

Education/Certifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business technology, information technology computer science or related field, and/or equivalent experience is required

Basic Qualifications

  • Five to ten-plus years of relevant work/education experience
  • A demonstrated history of building Workday integrations
  • A strategic thinker, with the ability to also stay on top of tactical execution
  • Experience developing Integrations Life-Cycle Deployment technical specifications, process flows, test cases/test file delivery, and deployment and documentation
  • Ability to trouble-shoot, update and test existing integrations of Workday Studio, XSLT, and Workday advanced report writing/calculated fields
  • Experience with Workday’s Human Capital Management (HCM) suite – Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, Absence Management, Recruiting, Performance Management
  • Experience with Workday Web Service Application Program Interface (APIs), Studio, BIRT Reporting, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Advanced Report Writer, Cloud Connect(PICOF, PECI, CCW, CCB), Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, Custom fields, XML/XSLT

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certification a plus
  • Capacity to adapt to shifting goals and activities in an Agile environment
  • Capacity to manage multiple activities in parallel
  • A self-starter with excellent analytical, communication (interpersonal, verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
  • Data-driven and results-oriented
