About the Role:
This position is located in our corporate office in Greenville, SC.
The Senior Manager, Talent and Human Resources is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s talent strategies while overseeing the day-to-day human resource operations.
This role will lead and directly support Southern Tide’s recruitment, employee relations, organizational development, employee engagement, and serve as the front-line support for day-to-day human resources related questions and needs.
- Collaborate and partner with senior leadership and management teams to define and execute the organization’s talent strategies, aligning them with the company’s culture and business objectives.
- Drive organizational design strategies to support growth and efficiency.
- Conduct workforce planning to identify future staffing needs and develop succession plans.
- Leverage HR metrics and analytics to drive informed decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize HR and talent acquisition operations.
- Partner with Oxford HR team to implement enterprise-wide initiatives and serve as key advocate for individual brand projects, business needs or strategic feedback.
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract exceptional talent across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team structures, business needs, and organizational goals, translating these into well-defined job descriptions. Provide strategic guidance on organizational design, job specifications, and acquisition strategies.
- Manage and support the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiations, and ensuring a seamless transition to onboarding for new hires.
- Build and maintain a strong employer brand that attracts and retains high-performing employees.
- Monitor hiring practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as recommended best practices
- With guidance from Corporate HR, maintain and update HR programs, policies, and
- procedures to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws.
- Utilize Workday to process and streamline HR operations. Serve as frontline Workday user support for the business unit.
- Collaborate regularly with cross-functional managers to build relationships and develop a strong understanding of business needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, managing issues such as
- investigations, interviews, and policy application. Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on employee relations and performance management.
- Develop and deliver onboarding and development programs to ensure a seamless and engaging employee experience.
- In partnership with Corporate HR, support performance management processes and best practices, including Check-ins, feedback, and annual reviews.
- Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement, including communications, surveys, and employee events.
- Partner with Corporate HR to develop and implement compensation related plans (example: sales bonus) and tools
- Partner with Corporate HR in the delivery and day-to-day communication around benefits programs.

Know the ropes…
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Generally, 8+ years of human resources, talent, recruiting or related experience
- Proven track record of recruiting top talent
- Experience working with retail and/or multi-state organizations
