The Project Coordinator – HRIS position supports the HRIS team in the implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of the HCM systems and interfaces, which include Workday, Kronos Fresh Desk and FormStack. The position supports the user base (back office and employees) and manages Workday and Kronos meetings and projects including training and communication.


  • Two years of college course work (preferably in business, computers, or related field) or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of two years related experience with HRIS, HR, Benefits, Payroll systems

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office365 software products including Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, and Teams

  • Workday, Kronos, and JIRA (or other project management systems) experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently and with a team to complete work/projects

  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline driven environment

  • Exceptional organizational and follow through skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy



  • Oversee the Workday support line, ensuring support tickets are created and manage the department phone tree

  • Monitor and manage support ticket database in Fresh Desk and assign/escalate to second level HRIS and Payroll support as needed

  • Complete assigned first level support tickets by working with ticket requestor to resolve issue and close ticket  

  • Liaison with end user on issues – handling Workday recurring tasks and system corrections as directed

  • Manage Daily System Integrations verifying accuracy and completeness – troubleshoot any issues

  • Manage the Workday Governance Team meetings and manage the communications for the HCM Workday team

  • Own the Workday Report Management for the HCM Workday Management Team

  • Keep up-to date on system maintenance and advise end users on features and timing

  • Manage the semi-annual Workday Release Project for the HCM Workday team which includes developing test plans and managing the testing cycle through JIRA

  • Manage Software License Inventory for the Employee Services Team

  • Support and manage the Kronos Team –keeping current documentation, training Kronos support team, prioritizing issues and requests

  • Interfaces with third party contractors or managed support services to complete projects on a timely basis.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to system functionality -including administrative manuals, training materials, job aides, procedures, processes, and communications

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
