about the position…

Power Design is seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented HRIS Partner who is driven to contribute to Power Design’s growth and long-term success.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, specifically with the Workday platform.  As a Workday HRIS Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of all data within the Workday system.  This role requires a deep understanding of Workday data structures, business processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Position details/responsibilities…

  • Perform data entry, data updates, and data maintenance tasks within the Workday system.
  • Assist in Workday business process configurations and role-based permissions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee data, including but not limited to personal information, job details, compensation, and benefits.
  • Conduct regular audits of Workday data to identify and resolve discrepancies or inaccuracies.
  • Implement and enforce data validation rules to maintain data integrity.
  • Generate custom reports and dashboards to meet the reporting needs of various stakeholders.
  • Analyze Workday data to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to configure Workday settings to optimize data management processes.
  • Stay updated on Workday updates and enhancements, implementing new features as applicable.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Implement and maintain data access controls to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Provide training to end-users on Workday best practices and functionalities.
  • Offer support and troubleshoot data-related issues for users across the organization.

Here’s what we’re looking for…

  • 5-7 years of proven Workday experience and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday data structure, business processes, and security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Action-oriented: ability to drive to resolution in a timely, proactive manner.
  • Continuous improvement mindset. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work output and decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
