Specialist, Accounts Payable

 

What you will be doing:

This position reports to the Director, Financial Operations and is an integral part of the accounts payables process within S2S. Specifically, through entering supplier invoices into the system and managing supplier statements. Additionally, this position will be the primary contact for internal and external questions regarding the payment process and status.  This position will work closely with other members of the S2S team to gain in depth knowledge of the S2S purchasing and procurement process along with other financial processes.  The position will also work with Premier personnel to understand the Workday Financial System and areas of Procurement (including Supplier Invoice and Settlement).

  • Enter shipment data into ERP system for invoicing

  • Communicate with warehouse and vendors on shipment variances

  • Approve domestic and international vendor invoices

  • Dispute domestic and international discrepancies for 3-way match purposes

  • Assist Operations and Finance Departments with month-end and quarter-end reports and processes

  • Other duties and responsibilities as requested

2 or more years applicable experience

Customer Service, Microsoft Office, Multitasking

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Experience to include:

  • Experience working in an office setting

  • Ability to meet established weekly and monthly deadlines

Education:

Associates or technical degree
