About this Position

The Workday Analyst provides system support and leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of the Human Resources Department and users of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) throughout the organization. The Individual will investigate, analyze, recommend and execute alternatives for business process flow, test plans, user documentation and training. Experience with Workday is preferred.

This is hybrid position that works onsite and remotely multiple days each week.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Workday Analyst serves as HR Partner for the US population, the technical support & training expert to all system users, including self-service support for employees and managers, and HR staff in understanding business process flow and entering transactions. Additional responsibilities include assisting with developing and implementing new functionality, upgrades, and integrations and providing ad hoc management reporting as needed. 

Essential duties:

  • Provide support for Workday, including but not limited to researching and resolving Workday problems to meet process requirements, resolving end-user Workday concerns, and researching and applying fixes to unexpected report results or process errors.
  • Ensure data integrity. Assist in reviewing, testing, and implementing the Workday system upgrades (2 times a year) or patches.
  • Conduct scheduled audits for data integrity and internal audits.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to manage upgrades or patches
  • Partner with the HR team to understand the HR business policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Provide training to users throughout the organization.
  • Responsible for documenting changes to business processes to satisfy audit requirements.
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports utilizing Workday’s tools. Assist in the design and delivery of reporting for ongoing organizational needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Human Resources
  • Minimum of two years of Workday experience
  • Ability to manage several projects and priorities at once, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to effectively collaborate with HR leaders, IT, and payroll departments at various technical levels
  • Project management experience or systems implementation experience
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
