Where We Need You: 

Protiviti is looking for a Workday Finance / HCM Senior Manager to join our growing team.

Senior Managers partner with our clients to solve complex business problems and provide best in class advice and solutions.  Senior Managers have a solid understanding of their client’s business and demonstrate technical competence in their solution and industry.  Senior Managers can clearly articulate the value drivers of our business and are responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients.  Senior Managers are responsible for job economics and for ensuring seamless project management.  Senior Managers are developing future contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?  

  • Prior experience leading and managing multiple full life-cycle Workday implementation projects 

  • Ability to provide advanced Workday subject matter expertise for your area of focus (HCM / Financials) 

  • Able to serve as a trusted partner and advisor to clients related to their business applications strategy. Works with clients to develop technology roadmaps and business cases for their ERP projects 

  • Experienced in assisting clients to effectively design their Workday solution, identify alternatives based on best practices and application functionality and build consensus amongst different stakeholders to deliver an appropriate solution 

  • Skills necessary to anticipate and identify project risks and develop recommendations and action plans to achieve strategic objectives of the program 

  • Capability to lead / contribute to sales lifecycle activities ranging from needs identification and assessment to development of proposals and statements of work (SOWs) 

  • Ability to collaborate with leadership to develop Workday / ERP thought leadership. Includes assisting to promote the Protiviti brand at events and conferences by serving as a speaker / panelist on topics specific to your functional and technical expertise 

  • Demand generation and business development skills to expand the Workday practice nationwide. Support Protiviti global offices with Workday-specific needs from time to time as needed  

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a desire to continuous learn and share knowledge 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and oral skills, and willingness to present on a variety of functional or technical topics to broad audiences 

  • Ability to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries 

  • Supervisory experience of teams including Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers 

  • Advanced project management and status reporting capabilities 

  • Ability to network and build relationships 

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in relevant academic area or equivalent relevant work experience

  • 8+ years in your field required (e.g., HR or financial systems), preferably in professional services and/or industry 

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working with Workday, preferably in a medium to large organization 

  • Strong knowledge of Workday HCM / Financials 

  • Workday certifications are preferred

We travel throughout the month frequently based upon client requests/commitments. Travel may include suburban, regional, or out of state locations.
