We’re seeking a highly driven Sr. Analyst, People Analytics to work with the Human Resources team. As a member of People Strategy & Insights Team, you will be responsible for supporting the business and key HR partners with advanced analysis for insights to inform data-driven people decisions. Additionally, you’ll partner with various Human Resource and Public Affairs and Strategic Communication (“HRPASC”) teams to design new metrics and ensure our processes result in high-quality data. As Sr. Analyst, People Analytics, Human Resources, you’ll:

  • Develop and manage workforce insights that allow leaders to make evidence-based people decisions and help drive desired measurable business outcomes aligned with PSP’s business strategy

  • Use analytical techniques, approaches and tools that are in line with industry’s best practices in people analytics, while maintaining current knowledge of PSP’s data and trends

  • Collect and report on key performance indicators and high-level targets to track the successful execution of our Human Resources and Global Communications strategic plan

  • Proactively identify people challenges requiring more in-depth analysis. Formulate questions to define business problems, determine metrics and expose insights based on qualitative and quantitative data to drive decision-making; own the execution of the analysis and identify the insights and actions which come as a result

  • Collaborate with HRBP’s to understand key business priorities and curate actionable people metrics and insights

  • Partner with other functional stakeholders, including Finance, to provide a cohesive workforce analysis

  • Design & develop self-service dashboards and scalable analytics solutions for Business Leaders and HR

  • Work on project teams to design actionable metrics & analytics from various sources including the analysis of employee engagement metrics, diversity, attraction, development, rewards, retention, turnover, etc.Socialize and ensure consistency regarding data quality through education and process improvements

  • Support ad-hoc requests for analysis from HRBP’s and other executive sponsors

As the Sr. Analyst, People Analytics, Human Resources, you:

  • Proven track record of connecting dots and telling stories with numbers

  • Strong technical skill using data analysis tools.  (Fluency in R or Python)

  • Proficiency in Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau or Qlikview)

  • Workday Report writer experience highly desirable

  • Excellent organization, a high degree of attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with last-minute adaptations & regular changes

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  • Expert level in PowerPoint, with ability to quickly synthesize, and consolidate information in a summarized visual format for Executive presentations


  • Diploma in a quantitative field or study, or equivalent experience

  • Business Experience  3 – 5 years of experience in a technical role in a dynamic and complex organization (i.e.  HR/Marketing/Business/Financial Analyst, etc.)

  • Knowledge of data modeling and statistical analysis

  • Strong business and customer orientation. 

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English and French

  • Exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data and the ability to work within the confines of data governance and privacy standards
