Workday Absence Management Configuration Lead – PVH Corp.

The Workday Configuration Lead is responsible for leading functional projects and configuration activities on the Workday HCM platform. S/he must have strong Workday expertise in Absence Management and a working understanding of HCM.  This is a highly visible role with an opportunity to lead global initiatives on a new and exciting technology platform. Specific responsibilities are:

  • Manage the deliverables, scope of work and quality for key initiatives

  • Be responsible for Workday configuration in support of key requirements

  • Conduct design sessions with Subject Matter Experts, Functional Lead(s) and/or project sponsor(s) to understand strategic direction and business requirements

  • Develop high-quality deliverables (requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes) and presentations for review with stakeholders to communicate key business process concepts

  • Partner with cross-functional teams in the development, testing and implementation of enhancements/releases (new functionality, Workday updates, etc.)

  • Liaise with other groups to support Absence Integrations with external Time Tracking/Payroll systems

  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels in the organization to enable effective utilization of Workday

  • Ability to work directly with HR Partners from Europe, Asia, South America and North America and understand local regulations relating to Time Off and Leave of Absence requirements / configuration

  • Partner with Business Groups to manage Absence Roadmap based on new Workday functionality and assess the application to PVH


  • Minimum 5+ years overall experience in supporting enterprise HRIS applications

  • 3+ years of experience in configuration and implementation of Workday Absence Management

Education: Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline


  • Workday training in Absence Management; Workday Certification in Absence Management preferred

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with a process orientation – ability to capture and document processes via both narratives and diagrams

  • Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity

  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards

  • Ability to develop and present training to end users and/or technical training to HR Systems team members
