Job Description & Summary

A career in our Emerging Solutions Analytics practice, within Risk Assurance Compliance and Analytics services, will provide you with the opportunity to assist clients in developing analytics and technology solutions that help them detect, monitor, and predict risk. Using advanced technology, we’re able to focus on establishing the right controls, processes and structures for our clients to ensure that verdicts are based on accurate information and assure that information provided to third parties is accurate, complete, and can be trusted.

Our team helps business leaders develop into data powered organizations that adopt a comprehensive evidence based strategy, combined with the execution support to deliver results. You’ll focus on finding value and enabling sustainable information performance by using data, tools, analytics, complex modeling, data visualization, simulation, economics, optimisation, information management, business intelligence, and industry expertise.

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

 As an Emerging Solutions Analytics Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You have a passion for, or strong interest in technology and/or security and are looking to use your skills and knowledge to find solutions that meet our clients' needs. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to work both independently, with little supervision and within a team environment

  • Communicate positively in a clear, concise and articulate manner – verbally and written 

  • Keeping up-to-date with technical developments and new emerging technologies

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and strong organization and analytical skills.

  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business risks

  • Has a high degree of personal confidence, enthusiasm and drive

  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

 

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

Knowledge or a strong interest in one or more of the following areas would be an asset:

  • Exposure and/or knowledge of one or many large ERP solutions (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA, Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud, Workday Financials, HCM and Payroll, Salesforce, etc.) in the following key areas:

  • Risk identification and control integration as part of an end-to-end implementation;

  • IT and business process controls audit or review in context of an implementation;

  • Risk management and assurance over large transformation technology initiatives;

  • Design and implementation of application security and controls

  • Performing IT risk reviews as part of advisory engagements, including IT risk and maturity assessment, review of controls and security as part of system implementations, access management and IT governance reviews, data governance assessments and reviews and supporting assessments for broader information security such as cyber maturity assessments as well IT general controls.

  • Business development activities in supporting practice growth such as getting involved with end-to-end sales cycles of new opportunities by taking a proactive role in raising awareness of the firm's services and level of commitment to the local market, developing relationships with internal staff and clients, developing proposals and identifying opportunities 

  • Strong leadership skills working in dynamic and cross-functional teams for large-scale and multi-national engagements as well as strong relationship-building skills that will enable you to easily interact with clients, colleagues, and the wider community.

  • Good understanding of information security domains and ability to demonstrate/explain them with real-world scenarios

  • Security Clearance would be an asset

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
