Job Description & Summary

We are looking for a HR Administrator to join our HRConnect team. This is a 1 year fixed term, full time position.

You’ll focus on helping the local offices in driving the Firm’s people strategy, creating a unique people experience for each individual, and supporting our Firm-wide values by working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and Firm-wide success in the marketplace.

Our Human Resources teams support initiatives and programmes including, customer support, business operations, data and analytics, technology systems, recruitment services and on-boarding, workforce mobility, contingent workforce, and people and programmes support.

The HR Administrator will work as part of a centralised first level support team providing effective and efficient HR administrative support to the business. The team, currently made up of 16 people, are responsible for all administration tasks relating to Human Resources, Payroll and Pensions, with support on Recruitment and Student Services when required. The team uses Workday, our Human Capital system, and are continuously looking at ways to work differently and more efficiently.

No day is the same! Tasks vary throughout the year so your role will change depending on the projects/tasks assigned to you. Some of your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Deliver top-class customer service on HR queries that are managed through a centralised mailbox, phone line and ticket management system (ServiceNow) 

  • Coordinate and support new hires during the onboarding process, including contract generation, ensuring a smooth transition for each new hire 

  • Manage the offboarding process, including processing leaving details in Workday and conducting exit interviews 

  • Responsible for the administration of benefits linked to payroll such as Taxsaver, Healthcare and cycle to work. 

  • Monitor and process requests for types of leave e.g. maternity leave, parental leave, force majeure leave and carers leave

  • Prepare and issue employee change documentation related to all stages of the employment lifecycle in a timely and accurate manner

  • Provide first level support on pay related queries

  • General administration e.g. letter requests and document management

  • Maintain and update data to ensure accurate HR records (Workday), documentation, reporting and compliance 

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Workday and seek opportunities to create and improve our human resources processes

  • Support the wider HR team on various projects

Education / Professional Qualifications

  • Leaving Certificate 

  • Degree/Diploma in Business or equivalent

Experience Required

  • 2+ years proven experience in a HR administration role desirable

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office essential  

  • Experience with Workday and G Suite desirable
