At PwC, our people in people operations primarily focus on managing the people lifecycle and the day-to-day operational tasks related to managing employees. This includes activities such as employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce.
Those in human resource operations at PwC will focus on all areas of Human Resources and the business in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities. You will be a primary HR point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with HR protocols and guidelines, as well as be part of a team of problem solvers that help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Internal Firm Services are a team of professionals who provide strategic advice to our business leaders. This empowers our business and helps us work collaboratively on strategies, solutions and programs that support the firm. Â
Working closely with the Territory’s leadership, the HR Associate provides efficient and effective support for areas of IFS and the business in executing transactional and administrative activities.  The role functions as a primary point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with PwC protocols and guidelines.Â
This position reports to the team manager and will liaise with various stakeholders within IFS. Â

As an HR Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Â
Responsible for providing front-facing support to routine questions, completed inquiries and transactional support to various firmwide processes, working in collaboration with various teams within the IFS Line of Service.Â
Monitor requests through the various ticketing systems and processing requests as required.Â
Escalate complex issues and resolve matters in partnership with the team manager. Â
Deliver standardized processes for transactional service delivery by applying principles, frameworks and governance.Â
Understand the full range of PwC processes and programs available to our peopleÂ
Stay current with the Territory’s laws, legislation, regulation and our firm policies.Â
Collaborate with various teams to respond to ongoing queries and issue resolution. Â
Work closely with the IT teams to support related systems and technical escalations.Â
Liaise with stakeholders regarding Workday configuration as neededÂ
Liaise with stakeholders within PwC to effectively enable operations within the IFS Line of Service.Â
Project assistance as required including but not limited to system implementations and/or updates, and other duties as assigned.Â
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solveÂ
Technical knowledge including experience with HRIS (Workday) is an asset.Â
Technical knowledge including experience with Workday, Google Suite and Microsoft 365Â
Experience in a Human Capital environment, or experience in an administrative or coordinator role.Â
Experience working in a Service Centre function Â
Strong relationship building skills and focus on customer service with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels within the Firm including leadership.Â
Excellent verbal communication (both written and verbal), organizational, time management and listening skills.Â
Well developed written communication skills.Â
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and ability to review own work for accuracy and completeness.Â

This is a full-time opportunity which includes the requirement to work a rotating shift schedule involving evenings and nights. Â Â
