As a Business Partner (BP)  in our Consulting People and Culture (P&C) team your impact will be seen by: 

  • Developing influential relationships within your client portfolio and providing operational P&C generalist support for all people related activities. Partnering and owning the day to day relationships with team leaders, operations leads, people leaders. Raising relevant agenda items and having regular check ins on core P&C actions/activities with key stakeholders such as the Senior BP, P&C team and other enabling functions teams;  keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress. 

  • Managing cyclical people life cycle events in conjunction with the Senior BP (e.g. annual performance review, talent mapping, succession planning) and core business people projects/other initiatives; through the guidance and support of the Senior BP. Delivering the Consulting people strategy & adapting for your business priorities.

  • Bringing ideas and proposed solutions to the Senior BP and broader P&C team on strategic initiatives, improvements to culture etc that you have identified within business groups.

  • Coaching team leaders and providing business insights to adapt your client group’s people plans.

  • Supporting a robust and efficient People & Culture operating model by bringing the best of people and culture to our business and ensuring we leverage all of our teams in P&C to do so. [email protected] shared services team, Payroll, Centres of excellence (CoE).  

  • Providing proactive advice in conjunction with our [email protected] team for escalated employee relations or other people related issues, in line with PwC policy, including problem solving and performance management.

  • ​Delivering/ supporting strategic people projects and initiatives for the business. Communicating regularly on progress of projects to key stakeholders including relevant Senior BP and the business.  Generating insights via data analysis, effectiveness and impact of workforce management programs to guide decision making.  

  • Monitoring and supporting employee engagement and wellbeing via Mojo Culture Amp surveys.

About you

 

You are an experienced 5 years + HR Generalist ready for a new junior level Business Partner role and have a strong hands-on HR experience in a professional environment. Your core skills include performance management, delivering people employee lifecycle events such as annual performance reviews and exposure to employee relations/investigations, within a medium to large matrix organisation.

You are skilled in coaching and developing team leaders and have a solid understanding of Australian employment law, as required as a HR practitioner. You have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills which are key to your success in this role.

 

You are collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative, agile and fast moving environment. You’re a problem solver by nature and want to join a firm that values the kind of people who reimagine the possibilities for their clients and stakeholders.  

Your experience in Workday HRIS or similar system and a postgraduate degree in Human resources or related discipline are highly regarded.  You have a strong grasp of data and numerical skills, having used the google suite or similar and other key tools in your prior role(s). Your writing skills are also well honed and can be utilised to draft project plans, write detailed presentations and concise communications for our people.
