 About the role?

Our People and Culture Business Partners are a team of talented and passionate HR professionals, deployed on a variety of culture, talent, organisational design and change projects and life-cycle events (e.g. annual review), that drive the commercial success of the Assurance business. 

Business relationships

Key clients include the people leaders below Business Unit leader, partners and team leaders. Key internal relationships include People and Culture Directors and Senior People Business Partners, People & Culture centres of excellence (e.g. Wellness, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, Diversity & Inclusion, Reward, Systems & Insights) and the People at PwC shared services team. 

Responsibilities and deliverables

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, to deliver life-cycle people events including goal setting, and performance and remuneration review cycles across the line of service / business. 

  • Deliver career planning, succession planning and talent view processes for your business.

  • Review Mojo and people perspectives surveys, and other people data sources (e.g. People Insights Dashboard) to provide insight and analysis to help drive cultural change. 

  • Embed the diversity and inclusion agenda.

  • Deliver a range of strategic and transformational culture, talent, organisational design and change projects that have a direct impact on the success of our business, aligned to line of service strategy.

  • Drive a values based culture that enhances business performance, provides commercial HR advice and effectively manages risk to resolve issues relating to performance and conduct, in line with PwC’s policies and internal protocols. 

  • Support and develop team leaders to have difficult conversations. 

  • Advise on health and wellbeing concerns which impact the individual and firm.

  • Applies judgement to escalate to Senior Business Partner, ER and/or Wellness CoE as per internal protocols. 

About you

 

You are an experienced HR Generalist with strong hands on experience within performance management, delivering lifecycle events,with exposure to employee relations/investigations, within a medium to large matrix organisation.

You are skilled  in coaching and developing team leaders and partners and have a solid understanding of Australian employment law, as required as a HR practitioner. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills will be key to success in your skills.

In addition, your experience in Workday HRIS or similar system and a postgraduate degree in Human resources or related discipline will be highly regarded.
