Job Description & Summary

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the People Service Delivery Leader to transform, optimize and manage the day-to-day People Organization consultation and delivery services (both onsite and offsite
  • Support the People Service Leader to continuously digitize, automate and improve services, including process and project support to any process and digital enhancements or new rollouts within the Service Delivery Team (e.g. develop process procedures, guidelines, templates and flowcharts, etc.)
  • Monitor the daily operations of the central service delivery team, resolve issues and ensure all services are delivered in a seamless, high-quality way, aligned with services level agreements (SLAs) and compliance with legal regulation and PwC China policies. Scope of daily operations may include new joiner onboarding process, social benefits, offboarding process, payroll data collection, inbound and outbound service and supervising administrations, e.g. staff employment records and filing, qualification and certification, labour contract renewal, staff information update, commercial insurance, etc. 
  • Lead the daily operations of the central service delivery team to provide relevant performance reporting and analytics to all PO functions and employees for continuous improvement
  • Build a good relationship with LoS HR, CoE and resourcing team and seek feedback from them constantly, and keep improving the process to ensure timely accurate information and quality service.
  • Liaise with the government authority to ensure compliance with required government procedures
  • Lead and support People Organisation initiatives and projects according to People Organisation strategy and priorities
  • Assist the People Service Delivery Leader to manage relationships with PwC Network and external vendors not only to facilitate the day-to-day performance of the vendors, their delivery and service quality but also to improve and fully utilize all available aspects of adopted technology
  • Manage central service delivery team around their performance, development and wellbeing including periodic coaching sessions and management of mid-year and annual performance review

Qualifications and skills

  • 8 + years of solid operations and optimization experience in Shared Services and/or any core human resource in sizable organizations, experience in the China or Shanghai market is highly preferred
  • Full working knowledge and understanding of HR Compliance, familiar with local labor law and relevant employment ordinance
  • Experience with Workday and other HR Systems a plus
  • Digital savvy, strong customer services, communication and project management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of data security, database management and data analytics
  • Strong number sense, expertise in utilizing data to improve delivery services
  • Comfortable managing up and across the organization, with strong credibility and the ability to influence leaders and teams, excellent collaboration skills
