Job Description & Summary

A career within Workday Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients leverage Workday technology as a tool to enhance and unify Human Resources, talent management, and finance. We focus on understanding the forces shaping their business and developing industry tailored solutions that support our clients through the entire lifecycle of the Workday implementation.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Sales Director you will be dedicated to the Workday Alliance and will act as the gateway between PwC and Workday to foster joint success in the marketplace and work cohesively with all Markets and other PwC team members. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creates new lead generation, pipeline opportunities, and wins

  • Increases demand from the Channel

  • Increases solution awareness of Workday Enterprise Management Cloud solutions including Finance, HCM and Payroll

  • Executes business development campaigns and activities such as sales calls and contacts to stimulate demand generated with the Alliance while liaising with PwC client delivery teams

  • Solicits information from Workday and clients to effectively qualify and scope opportunities

  • Has expert understanding in how the Alliance goes to market

  • Develops and fosters deep relationships with field based sales and services teams at Workday

  • Provides analysis and insight into the local market and client dynamics through the lens of the Alliance

  • Maintains relationships across the practice in order to quickly plug in the right Engagement Partner, Managing Director or Director based on the required subject matter expertise

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Strong track record of selling large ERPs (ie, Oracle, SAP, Workday) and/or other cloud software to CFOs, CHROs, and CIOs

  • Experience in a series of progressive sales roles within a professional services firm or large corporation 

  • Previous experience in Alliance Sales and/or software solutions and system integration sales

  • The ability to communicate effectively, consult with others, develop relationships quickly, both internally and externally, facilitate group discussions, make presentations

  • High energy and the flexibility to perform under short time constraints to meet deadlines 

  • Exceptional self-starter, both team oriented and able to work independently

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
