Job Description & Summary

A career in our Workday Finance practice, within Workday Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients leverage Workday technology as a tool to enhance and unify Human Resources, talent management, and finance. We focus on understanding the forces shaping their business and developing industry tailored solutions that support our clients through the entire lifecycle of the Workday implementation.

CPA, Workday Financials, Workday Order to Cash, Workday Project, Workday Project Billing, Workday Services functional certification(s) and/or engagement manager certification, Workday Pro functional and/or technical training

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in Project Billing, Customer Accounts, and Workday environment for at least six years in the following areas:

  • Leading implementation, optimization and/or administration of Workday Financials and / or PSA (Professional Services Automation) functionality, including design, build, configuration, and testing;
  • Assisting large companies with improving the performance of their finance organizations, including improving the delivery of finance, project estimation and delivery services, implementing finance and / or Project Billing and Customer Accounts technologies, aligning finance strategy with business strategies, streamlining and standardizing finance and Project Billing & Customer Account policies, practices, and processes, transforming the finance and / or Project Billing & Customer Account policies, technology to be more effective in supporting the business;
  • Serving on several cloud-based financial system or Project Billing & Customer Account policies, application implementations or support teams (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Fusion, Intacct, FinancialForce, Microsoft Dynamics, Changepoint PSA, Mavenlink), acting as the project manager or lead; and,
  • Advising global organizations on improving efficiency and effectiveness in Project and Customer Contract set up, Project Billing and revenue recognition processing;

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;
  • Communicating value propositions, managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and,
  • Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
  • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust;
  • Seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and,
  • Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
