Job Description & Summary

A career in our Workday Technology practice, within Workday Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients leverage Workday technology as a tool to enhance and unify Human Resources, talent management, and finance. We focus on understanding the forces shaping their business and developing industry tailored solutions that support our clients through the entire lifecycle of the Workday implementation.

In joining, you’ll be a part of a team that helps our clients utilize integration, data conversion, extend, prism and other tool sets to enable the broader Workday solution. Workday technology consulting work streams are a pivotal part of our projects that allow for the migration from legacy solutions, interoperability with third party solutions, provide reporting, insights and analytics, and extend the Workday solution to support client use cases.

6 years of Workday product experience

Data and Analytics, Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Management, Computer and Information Science, Statistics or Mathematics 

Certification(s) Preferred:

 Workday Services technology certification(s) preferably Integrations and/or engagement manager certification 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills: 

Demonstrates extensive-level, abilities success with managing the identification and addressing of client needs: 

  • Analyzing legacy system data to understand structure, nuances, and quality; 

  • Managing the data conversion strategy in collaboration with the program EM/PM; 

  • Updating Workday configurations based on requirement changes; 

  • Mapping legacy system data fields to corresponding Workday fields; 

  • Designing, developing, and testing data transformation logic to ensure data integrity in Workday; 

  • Executing data validation scripts and processes; 

  • Work with stakeholders to validate data conversion results; 

  • Ensuring data cleanliness, accuracy, and completeness in Workday; 

  • Maintaining detailed documentation of data conversion processes, decisions, and mapping logic leveraging PwC’s proprietary program management tools and processes; 

  • Training and mentoring team members on Workday data conversion best practices; 

  • Exceling proficiency with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and techniques; 

  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. 

  • Producing deliverables through collaborating effectively across teams, and multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously; 

  • Supporting Global Process Owners and Centres of Excellence within the business on proposed changes being requested by the network, either due to regulatory reasons or because of Workday Releases; 

  • Providing industry knowledge and best practices of Workday HCM Core business processes; 

  • Identifies and addresses client needs while building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials; 

  • Participates and leads client discussions and meetings; 

  • Managing engagements or dedicated workstreams, including preparing concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues; 

  • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; 

  • Answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff; and, 

  • Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
