Responsible for mentoring new hires and providing process initiatives for the assigned team. Handles and provides support for various HR employee programs within the organization and responsible for administering or processing transactions and workflows.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide input for process/policy improvement
• Comply with proper internal controls to conduct job functions /carry out responsibilities/administrative activities
• Assist in driving improvements to HR policies, practices and processes across sites, taking into account cultural differences
•Ensure high HR service levels and assist in facilitating two-way communication among functional areas and human resources
• Liaising with centers of excellence to provide answers for employees
•Generate both regular and ad-hoc reports for Management from Workday & Cornerstone (HRIS & LMS)
• Manage the security and maintenance of HR personnel files. Ensure that all files are complete and ready for regulatory inspection.
• Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action
• Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
• Provide support to employees for complex HR related transactions such as payroll taxes, over payment, under payment, deductions, employment contracts/ letters, invoices, etc. and resolve issues and problems
• Administering HR related transactions and workflows
• Utilizing available systems and tools to process transactions and workflows
• Engage with managers to interpret reporting data including monthly dashboards
• Manage case management system and ensure the correct points of escalation are delivered timely
• Facilitate complex audit reports, HR reports and any adhoc reports as necessary
• Ensure that all calls/queries are answered in a prompt and professional manner
• Point of escalation for complex transactions from employees
•Able to mentor new hires and or HR Specialist
• Provide training service to new hires/ HR Specialist on process, procedure and system functionality
• Successful transfer of knowledge
• Lead regular team meetings in collaboration with leadership

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

• 3 years relevant experience

• Computer literacy with intermediate PC and administration skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to review and interpret data
• Ability to transfer knowledge and provide training in systems and processes
• A good balance of conceptual and analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to produce solutions to moderately complex problems
• Able to understand and follow complex instructions relayed verbally and in writing
• Identify trends in data
• Assume a methodical approach to a given situation and developing a systematic procedure as a response
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical information and ideas so others will understand
• Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.

Preferred Knowledge

• Extensive understanding of HR policy and end to end HR process/ procedure
• Advanced knowledge to provide human resources related support to multiple business segments, including managing payroll and benefits changes.
• Maintain a working knowledge of relevant issues, laws and regulations pertaining to HR practices to ensure optimal value and full regulatory compliance
• Knowledge/ experience in Workday administration an advantage
